Why Tulum
Mexico Kan Tours has stated an important increase in tourism in the Mayan Riviera. In 2006, more that 60.000.000 visitors have arrived in Cancun airport. Tulum, a small fishermen village, located in the south of the Mayan Riviera, is the next goal for tourist development in the Mexican Caribbean. Numerous local operators: hotels, associations of environment protection, individual actions and cooperatives join their efforts to encourage a sustainable development of tourism. It has been obvious for M.K.T. that this region was the perfect place to found a headquarter and operate sustainable tourist projects.
